We are excited to announce that Sharing Dreams has been approved for 501(c)3 status!!

This announcement is a testimony of God’s faithfulness and work in our lives and in this ministry! We took a step of faith and applied for this status without any legal help - not because we believed we could do it alone, but we knew that God would guide us every step of the way. And He did! Praise God!!

Any donations you make to Sharing Dreams can now be used toward your tax deductions!

Ministry Happenings This Month

This past month, Herberty had the incredible opportunity to preach at three different churches in Campinas, where we live. Each service was a powerful time of ministry, and we were overwhelmed by how many people responded to the altar call for salvation, healing, and reconciliation!

The first service was a young adults gathering, and it was absolutely beautiful. The presence of the Holy Spirit filled the room in such a tangible way! Hearts were stirred, and lives were deeply touched.

The second service was a missions-focused gathering, and it was amazing to see the heart this church has for spreading the Gospel. Herberty shared a message from the book of Acts, and it was evident that God was moving—many were encouraged and challenged to step out in faith.

For the third service, we wanted to do something extra special for the children. Sarah had the joy of sharing a short word with the church, and she took a moment to connect with the students, sharing about some of her favorite Brazilian foods and engaging with them from the stage. Of course, Herberty was there to translate.

At the end of the service, we surprised everyone with ice cream bars! The children were thrilled—not just about the ice cream, but also about talking with Sarah in English and asking her questions about America! It was such a sweet time of connection.

To bless the children’s ministry further, we also gave a small offering to their department, sowing into the future of their work with the next generation. It was a privilege to partner with them in this way!

We are so grateful for these opportunities to minister and to see the Lord moving in such powerful ways. All glory to Him!

Ministry Meeting

This month we had a wonderful meeting with Pastor Flavio and his wife, Sandra, to share about Sharing Dreams. They are faithfully leading a growing church in Hortolândia, a neighboring city, and doing incredible work for the Kingdom of God. Pastor Flavio is especially excited for the children of his church being part of the Sharing Dreams: Pen Pal Project, creating meaningful connections through faith!

Next week, Sarah will have the joy of ministering at their church for a special women’s event. We are expectant for what God will do!

Here’s what we are looking forward to over the next few weeks:

  • Having two kids crusades!

  • Going into poverished areas and bringing the hope of Jesus, and food!

  • Kids Ministry Training Event!

  • More preaching and sharing Jesus!

March has been a month of preaching and preparation for the short time we have left in Brazil! We are looking forward to reaching more people and accomplishing what the Lord would have for the rest of our time here!

We have seen God’s faithfulness and His presence with us this last month! We are blessed to be used by God, and we are able to do all of this because of our faithful partners, our Dream Makers! Thank you! Your partnership is continuing to change the lives of people in Brazil! If you would like to donate you can click on the box below

We are gracious in knowing that the Lord is not done with us yet and we look forward to what is in store for the rest of our time here! Please continue to pray for us, for more opportunities to share the love of Jesus and open doors!

With Love,

Herberty and Sarah de Souza
